Join FIABCI World President Robyn Waters as She Participates in a Panel Discussion Titled “Creating Market Confidence through International Standards”
Time: Thurs 12 March, 11:00 – 12:00

Location: Stand R7.C34

Summary: The International Ethics Standards Coalition (IESC) is made up of 40 leading bodies representing professionals working across the entire spectrum of land, property and construction related services.  FIABCI has been at the forefront of this initiative and strongly supports the objective of developing the first set of globally recognised ethics standards for the real estate profession.

In February of this year , FIABCI Past World President Tony Grant was elected to serve as Deputy Chair of the Coalition.  He joins Peter Bolton King (RICS) who will serve as Chair of Trustees and Richard Berkemeier (ASA) who will serve as Executive Secretary/Treasurer.

Last year, a report from the Chartered Management Institute stated that ‘trust between business and society is at a low point.’ This is despite the fact that, once trust is earned, it has a positive impact on a company’s bottom line. It enhances transparency, consistency and confidence in the services offered by professionals in the global marketplace.

During this panel discussion you will find out more about the major cross-industry initiative to establish international standards for real estate which will help to “de-risk property markets” and enhance the services provided by professionals throughout the world.
