PETALING JAYA: As part of the 66th FIABCI World Real Estate Congress scheduled in Kuala Lumpur from May 29, prominent speakers and delegates from 48 countries are congregating in Malaysia to deliberate on the 2015 congress themed “Urbanisation: Perils or Prosperity”.
FIABCI Malaysia president Tengku Abdul Aziz Tengku Mahmud said the congress will be “a gathering of experts concerned about the future of real estate development”.
FIABCI is recognised for “expert views on real estate by the United Nations”. Nearly 1,000 delegates are expected to attend the three-day event at One World Hotel.
In addition to the many informative public forums and conferences, another major highlight of the congress will be the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards gala night on Saturday.
The United Nations’ World Urbanisation Report postulates that more than half of the global population currently live in townships. This is projected to reach 70% by 2050. Thus, this theme acquires critical relevance at this juncture.
